Thank you very much Mr. support hero! ??
Exactly what I needed.
I was wondering what setting that was and could never find it, didn’t think it would be shadows doing that. Rather some element’s margins or paddings.
Thanks a lot! ??
I’ve added the code in the css file and also made the updated minified version, purged siteground cache but it still seems to have that white padding issue on the left. Can you confirm that you still see it?
Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answer.
Just to be clear, we’re talking about adding this to the theme’s CSS, or the additional CSS ‘within’ the slide-in (since there seems to be an option to add CSS there too).
If you prefer, feel free to answer in your native language, I’ll understand. ??
Thanks,
AleksandarIt’s working now James, just checked after I ‘reset’ the plugin (it was saying something about not having permissions so I restarted it again). All good now, thanks for going through this with me. ??
Thanks James! I’ll give it a few more days and check again. If it’s still the same I’ll let you know and you can take another look. I won’t touch anything until then, will leave it as is.
Well, I’ll check back in a week or so and hopefully it updates. But if it doesn’t, it’s not a really big deal, I can just use AdSense itself to check stats.
I followed the links from the adsense sitekit page and this is the thing that I’m getting chronologically:
Should I remove the site from AdSense and then let SiteKit re-add it? I notice it’s trying to add https://www.legendarymage.com but in AdSense only the domain name is appearing.
Np probs James! I don’t really see that error anymore after the last plugin update, right now I’m getting:
Maybe it’s because when I switched to SiteGround and made the https://www version default that somehow it’s not being registered properly? On my AdSense account page I’ve got:
https://imgur.com/5iTQCIk (in the form of a domain name) but I don’t think that should be a problem though? I know webmaster tools tracks performance differently for all these addresses, but under the domain name format it simply includes everything.
Other than that, I’ve got caching enabled on SG (all 3 of them that they offer) and I don’t think there’s any plugins that are conflicting.
Sure James, take your time. Everything ‘works’ in reality, it’s just the stats that cannot be shown properly.
I’ve updated and now I’m getting “We’re getting your site ready for ads
AdSense is reviewing your site. Meanwhile, make sure you’ve completed these steps in AdSense.” But my site was approved long time ago and has been serving ads for years, why this process again? ??Sure James, take your time. No rush. I’ve enabled everything else in the plugin and the ads on the site are fine.
In the meantime I’ve found out that google has integrated auto ads and features within standard ad unit codes so that’s pretty cool too.
Now I only have the one ad unit code (manual placement) and site kit’s code – which is active because the plugin ‘does’ work and says it’s ‘connected’ but there’s just no information that’s being displayed.
I also googled a bit more and it seems that there were other people affected by the same, so it’s not an isolated issue I’d say.
Might be worth looking into the plugin and under which circumstances it would return that error, but I’m not a programmer so I can’t do that – sorry!
Thanks for trying to help James, feel free to update this whenever – I’ll get an email when you do.

They both had admin access to AdSense for a long time. Today I removed access from the primary account and just left the newer one but still the same issue. Basically no matter what I do, it’s always the same error (which is weird because in the site kit plugin page it says adsense is connected and everything ‘works’).
Ok, so I removed the admin access for the first (primary) account and went to do everything fresh, checked from two browsers – it’s still the same error (account ID not found). When setting up the plugin it reports that it has found the account and does the connection but when the time comes to actually display the information, it’s the same error.
Maybe you could try and duplicate this on your end somehow? I switched to SiteGround hosting and that’s the ‘only’ thing that changed since then.
Thanks James, I’ll be sure to try that out as soon as I get my old phone number up and running (can’t login to my primary gmail at the moment due to 2F – but working on it).
I got the double script because I’ve put back the manual ad in my theme, but the manual auto-ads code is gone. How would you recommend I go about removing the script call, should I just take it out of the manual ad? The thing about that is that the manual ad is (I believe) the first one to show up in the code.
Here’s how it looks on my end: https://ibb.co/VYdbHmx
Then after that code we have the plugin inserting its own code(s).
I was going to ‘just’ use the plugin but most of the time there isn’t an ad in that particular spot where I want it, hence the manual placement in my theme (supports 3 different spots on its own – I just use the first one).
Should I just remove the script call from there, will it still work or just leave it as is anyway?
Thanks.
