it would be great to get to the bottom of these issues once and for all.
i see it in Google Chrome latest Version 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit) driving me crazy i just cant get my head around it

it doesn’t always happen on 1st load but on refresh every time.

i guess its more reliable to go with something like
/shop is your base
/store/product-category is the base for the product categories
/store/%product_cat%/ is that for the productsif im understanding correctly thanks for clearing this up it just seems the most logical to have both words the same very surprised its not setup and working by default in this way.

i have now managerd to resolve it seems that the yoast plugin requires the manage_options capabilities

basicly the role i have created is just a copy of the administrator without a couple of menus hidden and the delete functions removed i dont understand how this stops the plugin (yoast) tab from even appearing.
many thanks for your reply i have now got the connection but i get two empty tick boxes now under the comments which only appear when the plugin is active.
