Thanks for the pointers. Here’s the site: https://modelinginstruction.org/ (and a couple other teacher organizations I help with and I’m also using the 2014 theme). As I see it, each post on the home page (including featured posts) are given h1 tags.

@holisticrdn You probably need to FTP into your site and delete or rename the offending/potentially offending plugin directory. Then you should be able to log in and make any changes you need.

I’m having a similar, but not as severe problem. I upgraded to WP 4.1, then to Jetpack 3.3. My site kept running, but I could not access the admin pages (blank page, no error).
I downloaded 3.2.1 and installed it, which gave me back the Dashboard and amdmin menu, but many of the admin pages came back blank (e.g. posts, pages, themes).

On another site I run, I’m able to run WP 4.1 and JP 3.3 with no problems.

in it to save. Haven’t had this problem before. I just tried on my mobile phone instead of my work network, so it doesn’t seem to be related to work security.

Same problem here. I’ll keep looking through the support pages and link here if I find the answer elsewhere.

I tried all the recommendations listed here, and still couldn’t get my site to work. I have backed up to 3.9.2 and that is working fine.

Alright, I had to revert to 3.9.2. I’ll try an update again when 4.x comes out. Sorry I couldn’t figure out what the problem was.

OK, someone on the other thread said I should keep this thread open, even through they sound the same to me, so I reopened it. I’m going to try reinstalling 4.0 manually and see if that helps.

Sorry, I’m used to bulletin boards where similar threads are combined, but I can see the difference you are saying. I’ll go back and open the other (and try the manual install of 4.0).

I am having the same problem. I started a thread here before I saw this one, and reported that one as “resolved,” hoping that people will post here instead of on that thread.

I tried the renaming all the Authentication Unique Keys and Salts, then clearing cookies, with no success.

Tonight I’m going back to 3.9 if I can’t find a solution by then ?? (but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the great WP community will find a solution).
