In reply to: [Slides & Presentations] help me to Add tags for Presentation PostsI don’t think this is possible at this time. I create a Post with information and a link to the slideshow, then add my tags to the post.
Thanks Con, I’ll look into those options.

In reply to: Top admin bar shows up, but no /wp-admin/ pages workWow. Now it’s not working again. All my plugins are in a folder/directory named old-plugins, and the only thing in my plugins directory is the index.php with <?php /Silence is golden.
Some of the backend works. When I click on Customize (from the top logged in menu), I am able to customize the theme and save it; I can also change the theme.
If I click on Widgets from the top menu, I get the widget page wp-admin/widgets.php and can change widgets.
But when I try to click on Plugins (from the side menu in the Widgets page, I’m locked out again. Same with clicking on Themes…but if I click on change with Live Preview, it works again.
I have tried a couple different Twenty* themes (just in case one was broken somehow), and I keep getting the same problem ??
I tried Updates to see if I could reinstall WP that way, but again the page does not load.
Should I try uploading the entire WP file structure from a clean copy?
I’m running WP 4.9.7

In reply to: Top admin bar shows up, but no /wp-admin/ pages workI’m using twenty*, and the problem occurred when I deactivated all but one of my plugins. I just FTP’d in and changed the name of the Calendar plugin folder, and that didn’t work.
I changed the name of the entire plugin folder, and that seems to have fixed it.
Now I’ll have to add the plugins back one at a time and see which is the offending one.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Unable to add documentsI had the same problem, then went away and found out that I had just been uploading a big file, which took several minutes. When I uploaded smaller files, it worked much quicker.
Hi Hannah. Our goal is to have a site where paid members can download materials, as well as share with others. There may be other document sharing plugins that will work as we want, but I haven’t found one yet.
I guess I started looking at Woocommerce because of its sorting abilities: We want out members to be able to (1) search by course unit, (2) sort by author, (3) rate items, and (4) add reviews.
Can anyone recommend a plugin that will allow this other than Woocomerce? It sounds like you think there may be a better plugin out there. I’ll keep looking ??
Thanks, I’ll try that and report back.

In reply to: Intalling Revolution Slider from LARGE zip fileOK, I figured out a solution. Turns out there are two revslider folders, and when I installed the innner one, WordPress recognized the plugin and I was able to activate it.
If there is a way to install a plugin from a ZIP file uploaded via FTP, that would also be helpful to know, but I’m marking this topic as “resolved.”

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] Linking to different pages for each photoThanks. I believe I was thinking of something different than you described, but knowing it could be done lead me to the correct settings.
Below each photo link (link is to the advertiser’s site), I noticed the following statement: “If you want this link to be used, check ‘PS Overrule’ checkbox in table VI. “
So I went to this table, made this change, and it’s working.
It seems that the instructions you provided were for creating a link to a page for each image; am I understanding this correctly? If so, I think I’ll go back and undo those settings as I don’t need a page for each photo.
Thanks again for your help, your plugin has provided me with the solution I need (and, we’ll use it for the many other rich features as well!)

In reply to: Changing header tags for accessibilityVery cool tool. Nice to see the number of errors go down as I make changes.
