Regarding eholmarc question: Mcrypt was deprecated in php V7 and, I believe, removed in 7.2. If you recently updated the php release you are running, but not the WooCommerce plugin then you probably have a release level mismatch between the two. If that is the case, your options would be to fall back to php V7.1 or update WooCommerce (probably the better choice). WordPress recommends their latest releases be run with php V 7.4.
On the original question: I still see a mismatch between the issue summary from Site Health and the line item count when I drill down for details. The line items seem to get updated correctly, but not the summary count.

This is the list of plugins and the release levels I have active. None of them ‘should’ be getting involved in page edit/creation, the ones that affect page output do it via imbedded short codes. I’m guessing you aren’t doing exactly what I do because the behaviour is quite consistent on my site. However, it also isn’t worth spending a lot of time on it since using preview is an adequate work around. Thanks for looking into it.
