For IE it is most likely necessary to not just adapt the css but also the phps.

I sent you an email a while ago with the links to spiffy and nifty rounded CSS corners. So you know very well that IE 7 and 8 support and display rounded CSS corners .. ?? The way you did it here in the CSS with that -moz-border-radius stuff is just very – well – limited.

Anyway, I have somebody working on this right now and will share once it’s working in IE also. I have adapted the phps and the main css to my needs quite a bit, though, so you guys will have to figure out how to implement the changes into the current versions.

One reason why IE does not display rounded corners:

-moz-border-radius-bottomleft:5px;
-moz-border-radius-bottomright:5px;
-moz-border-radius-topleft:5px;
-moz-border-radius-topright:5px;

These css are not supported by IE.

2nd reason:
This is NOT just a CSS problem here! As I’ve observed, you must put your content in some B tags that are formatted with the external CSS file. The HTML code in these PHP files needs to manually be updated, too, to round the edges in IE!

(additionally it might be necessary to leave everything as is for Firefox and Safari, and to add a JavaScript like”IF IE() …” and then direct to an extra CSS file which contains the updated style for the corners just for IE.)

Andrew, can you please look into making round corners work in IE?

One known source are plugins that intermingle into the wp-login.php, like Aweber Super Simple 0.1.2. Check if you have any such plugin(s) installed, deactivate any of these and try again.

Here is Page Category Plus 2.2 latest build 2008-04-18. The developer sent it to me because he does not have time to support it anymore so yellowfish took it off their site. I confirm it working in WP 2.8.4.

wasted about a day with all sorts of plugins and even source code hacks which do not work with the theme we are using. Thanks for posting this, Chris.

I need to say that this feature should always be visible. Beyond a shadow of the doubt there is enough space up there, no reason at all to hide it like that!!!!
