I got carried away, it’s still all there ??

Very weird: I was looking for other pages where the links appeared, but could only find them on the search result pages OTHER than the 1st one.
I decided to remove the search widget and used the link I reported above (the one ending in /page/2/?s=[term] ) and the links are gone!

Anyway, if someone can give me some ideas I’d be glad.

I’m afraid I will need a little more than that.

I don’t seem to be able to find where the code is inserted, and I don’t have daily backup to recover from…

I changed security questions, passwords (users, ftp, DB) and contacted the host.
However I can’t find the piece of code creating those spam links…

Can anybody provide further details?

Just to make it clear, the malicious code are links to buy cialis, viagra and others, so you can check it out.

Indeed I checked 5 times before but it wasn’t enough. There was a mistake.

Now when I access site.domain.com I still get the DB login.
But If I access domain.com/site then the WP installation screen appears. But all the data from the older server is there.

Is this a DB or config issue?

ps: the address didn’t change.

I’m having the same problem after one of the updates.

I have the same issue saving and publishing new posts.

it only happens to new posts. after the error, I go edit the autosaved draft and then things work normally.
Already tried repairing the DB.
Posted also on the “not publishing” post.

I’m having the same problem, didn’t install any new plugin or changed anything.

I repaired the DB as esmi suggested, but I have the same error.
Whenever I try to save a new post as a draft or publish a new post I get an almost blank screen saying “It wasn’t possible to edit this post” (or something like that, cus I use a translated version of WP).
I’m using the newest one (2.9.2), but can’t remember if it also happened with 2.9.1.

Any other suggestions?

Stealth Publish WordPress plugin works, but it doesnt give me enough flexibility.

ACE (advanced category excluder) works perfectly and I can exclude a given category from feeds but not from home page, which is what I was looking for. Funny thing is I was already a user of ACE, just didn’t realize it could do the job!

I changed it a little bit here and there in order to fit my needs and my site, and I believe it did pretty much what I was looking for.

Just wanted to share with other who might someday arrive at this topic.

Now I’m looking for some help on tracking clicks on banners, if someone has some clues on that I’d love to have your feedback on this topic.
