I don’t use smush but I guess I could try slowly turning one thing off after another until I find the conflict.
I know I don’t have the problem on another website I’m creating.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] SEO Title: To Long warning when it isn't. Causing more breaksRyan,
The warning is coming up whether the box is empty, has 5 characters, or 50. The warning is coming up on every single title to include ones that never had an issue. I’ve found a few people around the internet with the same problem but no one seems to know what the problem is. Whatever it is, it is also causing a few minor issues with my theme because when I deactivate Yoast SEO everything is fine. Thanks,

In reply to: Yoast plugin: SEO title warning, too long+1 Bumb. I’ve been getting the same warning for a few months and now realize that the Yoast SEO is getting in the way of my theme’s interaction with woocommerce. There doesn’t seem to be any answers online and Yoast doesn’t provide support for free plugins.
I’ve been searching for an answer to this problem for a while now. No one on the internet seems to know how to fix it and because it is a free plugin by Yoast they won’t respond to inquiries about the issue.
Anyone know why this warning is coming up erroneously?
Warning: Title display in Google is limited to a fixed width, yours is too long.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] categories and subcategories not displaying titleThanks, Lorro. I did consider that but the titles were there under this theme so I’m curious why they disappeared all of the sudden. I’m getting weird ‘ghost’ changes like my side bars dropping off and changing, or sale prices dropping off. Its rare but it happens. I hate updating my theme because it requires that I go back and make dozens of code fixes. I’m not so up on using child themes.
Cheers!
