In reply to: [WP Posts Carousel] Post type: Page _and_ Post?I’m not sure I understand what you mean– with most plug-ins, I can use the Post_type of “any” to return both posts and pages; however, it seems I can only show posts OR pages with wp posts carousel. Is this true?
I would like wp posts carousel to show featured images from all posts AND pages in a certain category. What is the easiest way to do this?
Thank you for your help!

In reply to: [WP Posts Carousel] Post type: Page _and_ Post? For clarification, I use a plugin that allows me to assign categories to pages. Post_type=”any” gives me no love.

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Featured Header Integration?Ah. I misunderstood; that’s clearly not the solution to my problem. I’m on a tight deadline for this project, but I will try playing with the single event format at a later time.
Thank you for all your help, Franky

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Featured Header Integration?Right now I have a page that contains a slug to the event. When I add the URL to that page to the event, the slug stops returning the event info.

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Featured Header Integration?Thank you, Franky– the external url is exactly what I need right now, but it doesn’t work (with either long name or short url)– the event information simply disappears :/
Without the external url, the information shows up just fine. Do you have any clues?

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Featured Header Integration?I’ve read through much of the documentation and still don’t understand how to remove the title from a template or change the format of single events to show the image over the title. I’m sorry.
What I ended up doing is just adding the event shortcode to the event page. It means having both an event and a page for each show, but it’s worth it to me to have the header image: https://www.acrosstown.dreamhosters.com/gainesville-homegrown-local-playwrights-showcase/
Is there a simple way to redirect event links in the EME list widget to go to pages instead of the events if I use the same naming conventions for each? I.E, to link to
“https://www.acrosstown.dreamhosters.com/gainesville-homegrown-local-playwrights-showcase/”
instead of
“https://www.acrosstown.dreamhosters.com/events/4/gainesville-homegrown-local-playwrights-showcase/”?Thank you again! Maybe after some time I will better understand the intricacies of your plugin, which seems very robust ??

I’m too inexperienced to implement your suggestion or even completely understand it, but appreciate it nonetheless.
