I’m still having no success.
I went into the settings and saw a message that said ‘you are already authenticated’. There was a link to remove the settings from Google drive, so I followed that to start over.
After this fresh attempt at authenticating and following the links and instructions, it took me back to my website dashboard and I saw the following message:

Thank you
I’m sorry but I do not understand. What is there to recheck? I used the single-click button within the plugin that then took me to the plugin’s app for the integration. It asked me to connect my Google account to it, I said yes. I followed the link and it said success. Within the Google Drive settings itself, all I see is what I showed you in the above screenshot.
And what do you mean by ‘expert mode’. Expert mode where? Is that a WordPress thing? A Google thing? A mode in Updraft Plus itself?
I have no caching plugin.
Thank you
No, I am not using any caching plugins.
I have tried a full turn-off, then one-by-one on again plugin reset.I still don’t have an answer to the caching question regarding this Membership plugin though…
As I mentioned earlier, I’m confused about why I’m seeing cache-related strings in my URLs. It seems to only be related to the pages associated with the membership plugin.
Example: https://www.icaninstitute.com/my-profile/?cache-flush=1493741680.3These are showing up like this in my Google Analytics reports, too.
Is it supposed to be doing this? It just seems odd…
I’m not sure if that is related to the looping password reset or not, but I only mention it if you’re thinking it’s a caching-related problem. No, @nteuscher was having a different problem than I originally mentioned on this thread, and my original problem is still there ??
He had a problem where the email was not sending. My experience is that the user does receive emails, but the actual reset link inside the email takes the user back to that original page that is asking them to put in their email address to begin the reset process. That’s why I say it’s “looping” their user experience. Shouldn’t that link take them to a page where they are able to put in a new password so that it is now “reset”?From my previous response above:
I did reset the email section, tested again and that did not fix the problem.
How would I check if the password page is excluded from the cache? Is it supposed to be excluded or is supposed to be included?
(then I also had some questions about the caching of your plugin in general – if there is a support documentation article already made about this, a link would work perfectly ?? )
thank you!Thank you for your suggestions.

In all reality, I’m actually very confused about the cache part of this plugin.
There are times when I see something like /?cache-flush=1492324616.35 in my Google Analytics. I see things like that when I’m in my own profile as well. Is that happening as a result of this plugin? And if so, is it supposed to be happening like that?
I also see “Clear User Cache” on the plugin’s dashboard page. What is actually being cleared when I hit that button? Is it caching their profile information? The pages they frequently visit? Their login history? I’m not sure what is actually being cached…Thank you!
Oh I just got it working! I had been clicking the “clear cache” button, thinking that it would somehow help, maybe clear out something weird, etc.
But each time it had been during the “checking” state, when it was still authorized.
This time, I waited until it gave the error and asked to authorize plugin again. I cleared cache first, then re-authorized again and it appears to be in order now! Thanks!!
Thank you for trying to assist.
I have been trying to authorize the plugin daily using these instructions and I’m still getting this error.I’ve even tried it with 2 separate google accounts (yes, both have access to google analytics and are authorized for this URL property). I’ve tried it in incognito window.
It still comes back after a while with this error code.I truly do not know what else to try… ??
I’m not sure what changed or why it’s giving this error. It was definitely working at some point. I’m at a loss as to how to proceed. Is there a way to bypass the Access Code and just put in the tracking code? It was working back when that was the way to connect GA to my website
