In reply to: [Minamaze] Default fonts & font sizes in minamaze themeIs there anyone else that can assist.
Looking for someone who is using the minamaze theme with default font settings still in place and who can confirm the detail for me by using whatfont?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Minamaze] Centre page headerSure – will do… in the meantime, is there a specific size that I should rather use for the header and if I load a bigger image will it then resize automatically according to the type of view (like the slider images) or would i need to add CSS in order for the image to resize?
i figured out out how to add a search field on/within page text – using elementor page builder no worries.
still however need instruction on how to display magnifying glass not the standard field box and search wording as created by minamaze/WP but if this is too difficult for beginners like me then i understand…
can you maybe just assist me with basic css or instructions how to make the search field in my pre header menu location display better & improve the visibility of it. It’s not really standing out – can i change the background colour of the search field/block to white?

In reply to: [Minamaze] Font Sizei installed the “Google Fonts for WordPress” plugin to have better control over all the fonts.
Thing is… i don’t want to change the default font… just increase the font size.
unsure what this theme’s default font & font sizes is, so i’m not sure what to change it to on the plugin. Where can i see a list of default fonts and the font sizes used for this theme for the different aspects?Or is there an easy css code to use… and where do i go/change the current(default) settings?

In reply to: [Minamaze] Default fonts & font sizes in minamaze themei don’t have/use chrome – but i will check this out.
Does Minamaze developers not specify this somewhere – i.e. default font & font size used for the theme?i thought that is what css does. is it that difficult to add the magnifying glass in place of the text “search” – even where the default search field is placed by the theme. how about adding a search field on a page dedicated to searching for the product you are looking for?

In reply to: [Minamaze] Font SizeHi, i’m also looking for the answer to this. new to website design & css – please help
I know how to get the inspector (web development>inspector) view open – where do I go from here and what do I do. I can see the fonts listed on the right side under fonts tab.. what now?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Minamaze] Centre page headerstill working on localhost – not live yet.
i’ve placed a header image but it is left aligned. I want it centered so it displays better on all 3 views (pc,tablet & cel)
Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Header image
The header image size is aprox 1600 x 200 as suggested but when viewing on pc its only about half the screen length .. and left aligned, so it looks funny.
I want to know if there is a way to center the image somehow – either by theme settings or cssI don’t know much about CSS code – still new at designing (basically doing the site for my husband) … learning as I go on.

In reply to: [Minamaze] Need to remove one of two menusHi, thanks for getting back to me. I’m new to website design and don’t know much about CSS – trying to stick to the basics before creating a child theme and fiddling around with css.
I’m not sure how to attach screenshots to the forum and I haven’t gone live yet – still working on my local host.
I like the pre-header menu location 1)because of the black background and big statement it makes at the top 2) because I want a search field and haven’t yet figured out how to place a search field where I want it and only using the themes location – but it looks funny where it is without the menu.
So since posting this, I sort of figured out a “fix-it myself” solution – i created another menu (using my categories) and placed that in the theme pre-header location with the search field.
I’m however not sure if my husband whom I creating the site is going to like this extra menu and the header image I placed – still playing around with options to show him ?
Is it possible to only use the pre-header? when I select only the pre-header location for my main menu it makes my pages appear in the primary header location – this is what I don’t want to happen if I decide to only use the pre-header. Can you assist? is there a way or must I use both menu locations?
If I don’t use the pre-header – but want a search field… how can I place a search field on my website anywhere I want it without using the theme option/location?
Also… (sorry I’m really new at this) – if I use a header image, how do I centre the image?
