In reply to: [Custom CSS Pro] Visual Editor [AD] in Custom CSS Pro Returned ProblemThe process to address the problem of removing the VISUAL EDITOR AD has become too difficult for my present abilities.
I’m going to hold-off on pursuing this at this time.
Thank you for your assistance and patience.
Leslie ??
Hi,
I was able to resolve this problem.
No more ad.Leslie ??
Hello Gerroald,
I’ve got an interesting problem.
1. I need help in removing an ad which is embedded in my Custom CSS Pro plugin. The add is "VISUAL EDITOR [AD]" which is located at the very top next to the SAVE button within the plugin. It is not visible within the CSS editing area. 2. I have deleted the plugin completed and downloaded the latest version but the ad keeps appearing. 3. I have viewed the website page source while in the Custom CSS Pro plugin editor and saw this piece of info - see below: <div id="ccp-section"> <div id="ccp-bar"> <a href="https://www.personaldevcenter.com"></a> <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://yellowpencil.waspthemes.com</strong><strong></strong><strong>/?utm_source=ccp&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=ccp">Visual Editor [AD]</a> 4. The problem is I want to delete the https://yellowpencil.waspthemes.com or at least edit it to: https://waspthemes.com 5. I have tried to right click directly over the "VISUAL EDITOR [AD] but have no means to edit it. 6. I have submitted a public ticket called "embedded ad problem" through waspthemes.ticksy.com as I do have a purchase code for another plugin which allowed me to submit the ticket etc.
Is there anyway to get rid of this ad????
Please Advise.
Thank you.
LeslieGerroald,
I noticed something odd. After sending you my last reply and looking at it I clicked on the two URI’s the yellowpencil.waspthemes dot com and the waspthemes dot com and they first went to the same website which was Yellow Pencil visual editor CSS.
?????

Hi Gerroald,
Your help has been great.
What I learned:
1. For Custom CSS Pro I still have been unable to figure out how to purchase a license. I contacted YellowPencil and they responded with Custom CSS Pro is not their plugin.
2. I dug further and discovered that possibly I will be able to get direct support from the WaspThemes.com (through Envato).
3. Finally, I discovered how the file was changed when viewing WordFence’s “Viewing File Differences” and saw that the only change to the file was:
Line 8 (was) Author URI: https://yellowpencil.waspthemes.com Line 8 (changed to) Author URI: https://waspthemes.com
So…am I to assume that there is nothing of concern here?
Is this a result of the YellowPencil plugin mishap which occurred this past April?Lastly, should I delete and reinstall this Plugin? Does the above change imply anything bad (hacking?)
Thanks.
LeslieHi Gerroald,
Custom CSS Pro is an Open Source software and contributors are WaspTheme – Yellow Pencil.
I am having trouble finding out how to access their support as it loops back to the support forum for WordPress which is how I reached you.
Any hints at how I can reach someone from Custom CSS Pro?
Thanks.
LeslieHi Gerroald,
1. I’ve never done a “pastebin.com” page so give me some time and I’ll get it to you.
2. Will I loose pages, my site connections, website brakes etc…if I first delete the Custom CSS Pro 1.0.4 and then reinstall a fresh copy from the WordPress repository?
Basically I’m asking if there is some specific ORDER I should be doing with the fresh copy install.
Thank you.
Leslie
