Hi there,

In our shop, we don’t allow guest checkouts, only registered users can start a purchase. When such a purchase is started, a pending order is created with all the details (name + e-mail address) in Woocommerce, but if for some reason the purchase is not finished (eg. the customer doesn’t pay using Paypal), we can consider the cart abandoned. We are looking to capture these cart and send automatic e-mails to such users.

Since the order is already placed, just doesn’t get registered as a recoverable cart, I assume it should be fairly easy to accomodate for such cases, and fetch the relevant tables from Woocommerce?

I’m having exactly the same issue. Orders are created directly on my Cart page without proceeding to checkout. A new order is created and marked as “pending payment”, but I’m not seeing any of these unfinished purchases on the Recoverable orders page, and none of the e-mails get sent.

It’d also be a very good thing to implement, as I’ve been looking for a way to solve this but couldn’t find a single plugin to have this functionality. Either a random selection, or offering the user the option to pick one from a predefined pool would work really well. I ended up customizing a gravatar plugin by stripping all the layers and only having single images, but this also isn’t an ideal solution.

Thanks for your response! I tried the plugin and it works exactly as my desired purchase flow. Since I’ll need the popup I’ll be buying the Premium version soon. I also want to do some more customization of the PayPal button, so will see how much I can change.

I’d also like the PayPal button to only appear if the user is logged in, otherwise I’ll display a Login button. I found the code which I can change but I want to avoid changing source code directly so I can get future updates easier. Is there a callback I can hook into, or a preferred way I can do it by using Code Snippets?

Now i’ve installed Quick Cache, let’s see if it can manage multisite in a long term. As I know I’m not on shared hosting, neither have many sites, just 2, at the moment. I hope this will work.

Jeah. It seems WP-Minify plugin is not working with multisite. Now I need to find some other plugin to speed up loading and can work with multisite.
