Concerning the plaim text assumption, the way my software works is users can purchase specific content at the website associated with their wordpress accounts, and then they can type their wordpress credentials into the login screen in the software to get access to their purchased content. I then forward the encoded password to the backend where the password gets decoded and tested by wordpress’ login function – where it fails when special characters are present, even though they are accepted when logging in at the site. Having this functionality working would also be sweet, so no workarounds would be necessary.

After checking the logs on the Dashboard, all recent registrations are marked as “Service disabled”, although the Status is showing as “Active” for the site.

Well, that’s one way to solve that, I’d probably do some testing and disable it if it doesn’t impact performance a lot. I’m still wondering why this happens though.

I’d like to chip in this thread too, I’ve been having issues with AO for the last couple of weeks. The only issue I’m seeing is that in the footer area, where the social icons are displayed without formatting (top is in editor, bottom is actual site):

Disabling AO fixes the issue, but I’d be more interested in getting proper optimization rather than having the footer look good. I’m still wondering though what could cause this behavior.

If you don’t do the auto-detect thing you have the option to add any fonts manually. Once you auto-detected you’ll need to clean the data and revisit the settings panel to be able to add fonts manually.

Btw this worked great for some time but then it started to behave strange, and displayed fonts not in their original weights. It’s a great idea but I think there are still some issues here and there. Is there anything I can help to debug the issue and possible fix it?

Thanks a lot for the tip. I didn’t find a way to manually add fonts after using the auto-detect feature, but if I skipped that and added Lato to a clean state it captured all weights correctly.

Thank you for your response. Do you think this could be added in the future? If so, can you give an ETA on this? If not, I’d look into doing some code changes myself. Is there a hook provided by the plugin I can call when a new order is created to get it registered as recoverable?
