Well, I’m still looking for a way to get automatic updates to work.
It’s got to be permissions or server issues. I will continue to search for an answer. Sure, I can do it manually but it’s such a pain!

I tried your suggestion but users still got taken to their dashboards instead of back to the home page.

But I am now using your plugin together with Peter’s Login Redirect and it’s perfect.

I chose your widget because of the simplicity. So thank you!

Yeah, I know. I think I’m wishing that someone would just say “yes, this is what they add to the db,” like in the Pharma hack.

I also wish there was a utility to scan the db to show added tables.
The small host my customer uses doesn’t make db backups easy, either.

Same thing happened to one of my sites and I was wondering if you found any bad database table entries or if they simply exploited an outdated plugin or maybe the upload function.

I am hesitating on the fresh install step, mainly because of the hoops the host makes us jump through to do so.
