It has nothing to do with the website. Simply the manner in which the Contact Form is setup in the settings.

So in re-reading my last post I thought that I may have the solution.
I went to Appearance >Customize > Widgets: And placed the Tagline following the TiTle.

The header holding the title increased a bit but looks o.k.

So I went to Explorer and the sidebar does not show.

Then I went to Firefox – And it’s still there!

In fact in Firefox the ‘tagline’ is placed in the upper part of the left sidebar.

Where in Explorer the tagline does not show up but nor does the left sidebar.

Hope this clarifies the situation.

The sidebar is inactive.
It has zero widgets but only shows up in Firefox but not in Explorer.
