In most cases, such issue occurs due to Theme/Plugin incompatibility
My suggestion is that you try to install Elementor while all other plugins disabled,
If the issue still occurs try to replace your theme.

Elementor > Settings > Experiments > Optimized DOM Output > inactive

When a change you made doesn’t appear online most of the time it happens due to an issue with your cache.

The first thing you should try is to open your website in Incognito Mode and see if your changes appear. If they appear – it’s probably a local caching issue. If they still don’t appear – it’s probably a server caching issue.

500 error is a server error which its leading cause can only be determined by checking the PHP error logs of your server.
