Problem solved. Not my proudest moment tbh…I was looking at my website on a browser that wasn’t full screen, and just this was enough to change the layout from horizontal to vertical…

The topic I think is more Customizr related than Nimble related, reason why I posted here, but not sure.

I hear you and looked at that solution before. Unfortunately I didn’t deploy the site wide option first and designed with only the Nimble builder header/footer option for the front page. Is there therefore a way to now “force” my website to adopt it, rather than having to redo the whole header and footer after I deploy sitewide option on the front page and have to redo the whole process?

I have installed Icegram and started a campaing but it doesn’t seem to work outside of the test mode. When logged out I don’t see it in Chrome incognito or Safari. I however do see a message that Chrome is trying to load unsafe scripts. Even when authorising the loading nothing appears.
My site has to stay in https as I take transacation, is that the problem? I have disable lazyload from my SEO plugin to be sure.

Hello Stanordan, thanks for your answer. Basically what I want to implement is now a structure that is” /%category%/%postname rather than just %postname%. I put way less content on my French website and it’s ranked higher on local search than my UK one, and this is the main difference. So I’d have to do this + redirection and I wonder if eventually in 3-6 months time when the new sitemap has been re-indexed the pro will outweight the cons?
As for YOAST seo I am already using WP Rocket and I am afraid they might be in conflict with each other.

Yes that’s what I have been thinking as well, front page is too long. My main competitor has put some interesting widgets and links to his internal pages in his footer and it works well for him – well the guy has always known what to do in SEO really. I shall probably put the same type of links on internal pages.Funny enough he has recently adopted a Customizr style theme, maybe after seing my site (we had a conference together a few weeks ago). Anyway I shall not boost him further with a direct clickable link to his site lol but it is fengshuilondon dot net. I am looking at what he does right in term of SEO…

Yes you’ve got a point – I guess I am a little bit old fashion into looking at my site mostly from a computer. I shall remove a bit rather than clutter then – I can probably go for the full width look and let the blog in my footer then. I think I can close this post now, thanks for the fantastic help! I’m going to start another post for advice on what to put/not to put in the footer…
