Is there a way to know which plugins are problematic? We have several plugins we use and I don’t know which ones are causing problems.

The only reason I’m nervous about us doing it ourselves is because we don’t know what we’re doing lol. We’re very new to SEO and the backend of things, so I wouldn’t want to mess something up by messing with things. Is it not a good idea to have someone else fix these issues for us?

Contact the authors of Yoast? Of our theme? Of all of our plugins? Sorry if “authors” refers to something else, still not 100% on the lingo yet.

As in the option to do so is just not there. I’m pretty sure it’s a flaw in our theme but do you (or anyone) know of a way to circumvent this?

I actually handle the less techy side of the website but am trying to familiarize myself with the basics of SEO to help us determine what we can do ourselves and what we should outsource to a professional. Meta tags are something we can probably do ourselves (as long as we do them right!).

Ok, thanks! Is there proper etiquette to using metatags? As in some maximum allowance you should use before it’s too much?
