In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Duplicate sitemaps@cybr Ah, that’s good to know. So when somebody links to my homepage, they should always use a / at the end then, right? Will linking to my homepage using the URL version without a slash have any undesirable SEO consequences?

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Duplicate sitemapsThanks for the explanation, @cybr. It helped me realize I had the /sitemap_index.xml version included in the robots.txt instead of the /sitemap.xml
I’ve also noticed that the homepage URL in the sitemap is formatted as url.com/ (with the slash symbol at the end). I’m using the custom permalink structure /%postname% without the slash. All the blog posts in the sitemap don’t have the slash symbol at the end. Shouldn’t the homepage URL be without the slash as well?
Thanks!

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Robots.txtThanks @cybr,
But I’d rather not add yet another plugin. Is adding a robotx.txt file with the following:
User-agent: * Disallow: /wp-admin/ Disallow: /?s= Disallow: /search/ Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php User-agent: ChatGPT-User Disallow: /
under the root folder of my domain a good solution?
Will the noindex tag still be applied to media, attachments, categories, etc?
Thank you!

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] Show related posts after author bio?@ajay Okay, so I managed to change the placement of the related posts. But I still haven’t figured out how to make this fullwidth so it stretches the whole width of the screen. Do you use a class for this? Or how is this done? My blog post layout is set to narrow now. But images can be set to full width. So I’m thinking the related posts can be displayed full width as well… Do you have any tips? Thank you!

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] 3 column grid layout possible?Hi @ajay, If I’m changing the post layout to fullwidth, the related posts show on 3 columns, just as I want them. However, the text and images of the post become fullwidth as well, which is not what I want. I did this test just to see if the related posts show on 3 columns, and they do, if the content layout is wide enough.
Is it possible to display fullwidth the related posts only?

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] Show related posts after author bio?Hey @ajay I’m using the Kadence theme. Do I also have to insert ‘<?php if ( function_exists( ‘echo_crp’ ) ) { echo_crp(); } ?>’ somewhere in the theme? Or just echo_crp()? And should this be added in the entry_author.php or somewhere else?

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] 3 column grid layout possible? Thanks, @ajay! However, the code isn’t working. I get “Expected RBRACE at line 2 col 28”.
Is it possible to make the related posts display at full screen width? This way maybe the posts will show on 3 columns automatically without extra css.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Viewport Images@rudolfl I don’t have other plugins that lazy load images. The first image of the post, the one that is partially in the viewport has data-lazyloaded=”1″, which I believe is something LiteSpeed Cache adds…
@mej Thank you for your response. I’m not a WP Rocket user, however I use LiteSpeed Cache. Can this issue be fixed with LiteSpeed Cache? Thanks!

In reply to: [Kadence] Latest postsI’ve managed to fix the first issue. I’m still needing help with the second one…
@mateuszgbiorczyk It works! Thank you so much!
@mateuszgbiorczyk Is there a workaround? Or is the only solution uninstalling the WP REST API plugin?
Honestly, I’d be happy even with manually converting images one-by-one in the media library whenever I add new ones. But forcing the conversion of ALL images every time I publish a new post just seems like putting too much stress on the server. I’d also prefer not to have to uninstall the WP REST API plugin. Thanks!
I have the Disable WP REST API plugin installed.
A rocket followed by number 36 appeared in the top bar for a brief moment, but when I refreshed the page it disappeared. The newly added image has not been converted.
I did as you asked. Here’s the screenshot.
