Now I wonder if that was why my provider couldn’t restore a backup? I”m trying to get back to an earlier version of my theme. But I won’t push my luck. At least its up and running.

No, the offending line was just:
No paragraph markers. When I deleted it, the erroneous line got corrected. Seems odd, but i am running the most recent version.Forum: Plugins

Answered this question myself: Created a field to hold titles without “the” and “a” and then used the display-post-shortcode argument to sort by custom field.

In reply to: Thumbnails and ExcerptsIn case anyone needs the same thing, I figured out (and then the developers of responsive also confirmed) that it is as simple as saying .read-more {}, because some where in the excerpt function, it says .read-more {clear:both} which meant the thumbnail couldn’t align itself. So, case closed, on my own!
