In reply to: [Elementor Addons by Livemesh] Bug: Livemesh (pro), SiteOrigin, Astra themeHey team,
I lodged a support ticket but received no response. I’d like to delete our staging site. Will that pose an issue for resolution?
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Elementor Addons by Livemesh] Bug: Livemesh (pro), SiteOrigin, Astra themeThanks so much! I can’t get ANY additional css to work on that page though – not even hiding headings, as a really obvious test – so this css likewise doesn’t work for now. What a gremlin! I am happy to give you a login to our staging site if needs be.
I am an IDIOT, this is possible to change per UM Form. For those with a similar query who are trying to over-complicate things, you’ll find it in the right-hand column when editing a form under ‘enable cover photos’.
Following! When there was still a roadmap page on their website and form for submitting feature requests, I suggested this.
Jason – yes. The bbpress extension is normally included in the extensions pass I believe, which requires annual payment.
You can also see our site, if you’d like. https://imimediation.org/find-a-mediator/.
No. We only use the UM main plugin and extensions; the only ‘funny’ thing we do on profiles is use the in-built conditional function and populate the odd list dynamically (again using in-built functions).
Maybe? What are UM hooks?
So I have a dumb question–could this relate to PHP in any way? We use Siteground as host, and were using their ‘ultrafast’ php until this morning. I’ve now disabled that, and profiles are appearing correctly. (I disabled it because the site had gone offline twice over the past few days, and it seemed that was the issue – we have been using ultrafast php for quite some time, so I’m wondering if there’s some kind of conflict between that and UM).
Dear Champ,
Sure! I am all about screen shots. Here is a link to four: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mY7RbYoX_BrSy3EIOk7Hg6ssgJv5_ueA?usp=sharing
Firstly, see ‘edit member page’. You’ll see that there’s a list of profile forms, with the first one being ‘full profile – IMI Certified’; the second is ‘YMI’; at the bottom of the page is the ‘administrator’ profile form.
Secondly, take a look at ‘Certified – Al’ and ‘YMI – Susan’. You’ll note that there’s a bit of a spacing difference, reflecting the order of the respective forms on the page. You’ll see the biggest difference though between Al’s profile and ‘Admin – Laura’. I’m not quite sure how else to describe it; there’s just random space. The same phenomenon applies to all types of profiles on the website, so that the further down on the ‘member’ page a profile form is, the more random space is inserted in that profile in the view end. Do note I’ve just updated to today’s release 2.1.17, and there is no change.
Thank you!!
Laura
So you edit a profile, and once you save the changes you revert to view mode? Is that not expected behaviour?
@rcain They’ve just updated the plugin, I presume they’ve addressed your issue?
I’m not associated with the plugin creators, but have been using this (and one of their extensions) for around 6 months now. We’ve not had issues with the plugin updating or messing with our website, though there were functionalities we asked for, mostly in relation to our site using a manual cron job. It sounds like you may have a plugin or theme conflict going on – might want to check that out. Otherwise, if you contact support, it might be a good idea to be specific about the nature of the problems and include screenshots so that they know where to start.
Hi Champ! No, I can already see that under the ‘posts’ tab :). Several of our users also publish on another website, and we’d like for them to be able to include RSS feeds for that site as well. That way, all their content is linked from their profile.

In reply to: [Bento] Login forms and user display gone after WP5.5 upgradeIn the end, as there were no problems on imimediation.org (as opposed to https://www.imimediation.org), I just changed the web address–so yes, everything would have been displaying correctly in the version you saw. What a kerfuffle!
