In reply to: Can no longer change image size with handles in FirefoxPioneer Web Design,
No, that’s not the case. I wish it were that simple. Now all my old posts imported from Blogger, whose images were resized by dragging have all reverted to their original sizes. WTF?
Here’s an example. All the images on this page should be the same width:

In reply to: Schedule button only reads "Publish"It’s all good now, thanks guys! Somehow I screwed up and am embarrassed to say the year was 2013 instead of 2014. Never done that before and never will again.
Forget I ever said anything ??

In reply to: Categories AND Search not working properlyAh, interesting.
The search box and categories are both the standard WordPress ones that were included in the theme. No plugins for those.
Now, I have another issue. I deactivated all the plug-ins to try to work on this and after reactivating Jet Pack, my mobile site doesn’t seem to be working. Augh.

In reply to: Categories AND Search not working properlyHi Jackie. Yes, right now, for me (I’m using Firefox), not one single category will work, they all return you to the home page. Try “modern aquariums’ for instance.
When WordPress SEO is deactivated right now,the search box seems to work, but categories all return the home page.
Learning More. WP Supercache seems to be responsible for the returning of the 404 error pages. When activated, the categories return 404 Error page.
In both cases, the search box feature is very inconsistent.

In reply to: Categories AND Search not working properlyAdding more info. Now that I’ve been playing with the plugins and settings), I’ve noticed that if I deactivate the SEO Yoast plug in, the SEARCH works but the categories do not work at all.
Also, how come sometimes the SEARCH returns the posts with an image and sometimes it does not?
PLEASE help!

In reply to: [Radiate] Categories in side bar menu returning a 404 errorWell, I spoke too soon. Now it’s not working at all again. Everything seems to be “undefined” please help!

In reply to: [Radiate] Categories in side bar menu returning a 404 errornever mind. I found that by unchecking the Security box in my Yoast SEO settings, the problem was solved.

In reply to: Mobile not showing recent postAgreed ??
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Mobile not showing recent postI absolutely have to disagree, albeit politely. On blogger one does not need to know any CSS, php or hardly even html. Everything is drag and drop. You never ever need to enter your root folder, use ftp or anything like that. But one does not have nearly the control, hence the appeal of wordpress.
For the average curator, not coder, having to learn any code is totally overwhelming.
But I’m here now, arent I? ??

In reply to: Mobile not showing recent postHmmm.
Clearly I need to research more. Has been a huge steep learning curve for me. I moved this site from Blogger where it was for 6 years to self-hosted wordpress a month ago. Left up the blogger version as an archive for the over 40000 posts.Have had a ton of issues and a lot of learning.
I find wordpress very difficult to use if you are not a code expert.
Again, I appreciate all your help.

In reply to: Mobile not showing recent postznuffin,
I added that into the custom css of the theme and sadly, no luck, made it even worse on mobile. Still big header and then the scroll was offset to the left.

In reply to: Mobile not showing recent postI’m gonna try that znuffin, I’ll let you know if it does the trick. Thanks!
