Thanks! This is exactly what I needed!
I noticed that next to {bookings_open}, {bookings_closed} also works.
Maybe useful to add these to this page https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/conditional-placeholders/ as well!
Thanks again!
Thanks for the quick reply!
The {has_bookings} placeholders checks if bookings are enabled for an event, but doesn’t check if the ability to book is available.
In my case, I want to enable bookings directly when I create the event but only allow reservations within a specific date-range. This can be achieved by using the “available from” and “available until” fields under “Advanced Options”. This way, I can create many events at once and without the need to manually enable and disable bookings, the bookings become available in the specific date range.
I was suggesting the {is_available} condition to allow a “book now” button to show up when reservations are available (thus depending on the values of “available from” and “available until”).
Thanks for the reply, adding the other variable would be great! I will wait for the update rather than editing the plugin ??

Thanks! This works fine!
Would be nice if there was a pluggable wpuf_after_edit_redirect or something, but for now my problem is solved! Thanks!
Hi Wombat86,
This is exactly the functionality I’m looking for. Have you managed to get this working and if so, can you explain me how?
Thanks!
