Thank you so much. That appears to work.

However, I need to set some attributes for the Matomo script, namely the user ID, for that to be tracked once the user has consented.

The Matomo document/guide for doing that is here –?but I can’t use PHP in the Matomo script editor, it just prints it out as text in the source code:

Sorry for the late reply.

By “bylines” I mean the line telling the reader who wrote the post, eg. “by Lars K Jensen” in my case.

How can a workaround be done? I’m not much of a PHP expert… Or is it a feature (multiple authors) that could be implemented in a forthcoming version of WP?
