In reply to: Fresh install – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $endActually it cuts off after 459. Uploaded the functions.php over again and now it works. Awesome! ??
Weird that GD didn’t see this when I talked to them though.
Anyway, it works now. Thank you for helping out!

In reply to: Fresh install – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $endThe error log is not activated for this domain, as far as I could find out.
Called Godaddy again though – since the Norwegian office is run by deaf monkeys with no arms I opted to talk to GD in English. Very helpful, the guy I talked to had a look at my coding and found this in the last line, line 459:
preg_match_
Something is missing or broken, as far as I understood, and I have no idea what that might be. Neither did the guy I talked to.

In reply to: Fresh install – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $endYeah been thinking about it several times but it’s such a huge pain in the butt to move all my files..
Yup, that’s correct.

In reply to: Fresh install – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $endCan’t believe how terrible Godaddy’s service is. Was on hold for almost half an hour and then I got sick and tired and hung up.

In reply to: Fresh install – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $endDeleted all the old files via FTP. I had an old wp install there but the domain was just used to redirect traffic and the installation have never been in use. I had no security measures set up for that particular site and figured I could just as well delete the old files and do a fresh install since I’d probably been hacked anyway. Didn’t bother to actually check though, I just removed the files and installed the new ones.
I was btw unable to login to my old installation. Not sure what that was sll about and I guess we’ll never know since I deleted all the files. But even if the site had been hacked before it should be working now with a fresh install, shouldn’t it?

In reply to: Fresh install – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $endHaven’t talked to them yet. Assumed it was a WP problem since none of my other sites have this problem and all of them have the newest version of WP.

In reply to: [Customizr] Center post title and add Facebook button to headerThanks for trying. ??
Tried that one too but it didn’t work. Shouldn’t I be using the entire stylesheet from the parent theme and then edit that, or will it work if I just edit in small snippets of code in the child theme?

In reply to: [Customizr] Center post title and add Facebook button to headerTried it now, didn’t work.
My stylesheet:
/*
Theme Name: Customizr Child
Theme URI: https://pugsheaven.com/
Description: My description
Author: Pugsheaven.com
Author URI: https://pugsheaven.com/
Template: customizr
Version: 1.0.0
*//* Center Page Title */
.page h1.entry-title {
text-align: center;
}Did I do something wrong? Oh, and I also put the functions.php in the child folder.

In reply to: [Reddle] Change from 100% to fixed widthSorry, been busy.
Yes, I did install another theme, but now I’m back to Reddle.
If I remove the @media the theme will not be responsive to different devices, right? Any way to get around this, having a fixed width for the computer users and still showing the site to mobile users without them having to scroll sideways?
