My problem with IE8 was resolved by turning the compatibility mode in IE8 to view the website. All is well for now.
I just discovered, elswhere in the forums, that if you set the compatibility mode on in IE8 the website will display properly.
I just have to put a message to that effect on my website. All is well for now.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Automated downgradeWP 3.2 recommends IE8 but when I upgraded from IE7 I had a problem with Nextgen gallery on the pages (see https://ussfranklindroosevelt.com/?page_id=5473). I went back to IE7 and the problem went away. This issue does NOT exist when using Firefox as a browser. All visitors to my website using IE8 will now have a problem viewing images. I don’t know if this is a Nextgen or WP compatability issue???? I don’t know if downgrading WP will help. If there is anyone who has the capability of viewing my site page with a prior version of WP and IE8 that would HELP!!!
Are you using Internet Explorer 8 as a browser? If you are check https://ussfranklindroosevelt.com/?page_id=5473 and see if you are having the same problem I am. It does not occur with IE7 or Firefox.
Is Alex Rabe aware of this situation?
The issue still exists when viewing with IE 8. I wonder if anyone is working on this problem? Is Alex Rabe even aware of this issue?
I just went back to IE 7 and all is well. My concusions therefor are that Nextgen has a serious compatability problem with IE 8. Since WP recommends upgrading from IE 7 Nextgen chould resolve their issue with IE 8. Everyone who visits my website and uses IE8 is going to have a peoblem.
I just rolled Nextgen back to v 1.8.0 and the problem still exists. I would suggest there is an incompatability between Nextgen and IE8 with WordPress 3.2. All is well when using Firefox as a browser. I don’t really want to roll back to IE7 and WP 3.1.4 to make it work properly but SOMEBODY has to find out what is going on!
Same problem here but with IE6 and NOT with Firefox! With IE6 images are reduced horizontally.
3 days now and it’s been working OK.
I had to reset the timezone again last evening and we’ll see if it makes any difference. The problem I noticed was that the graph was way out of line with the data (as if it was operating on a different timezone) but the data was still correct. The timezone at the bottom was the correct one but I reset it anyhow and the chart came into line with the data.
Did that and it appears to have worked however for the last several days the time and day have been shifting every few loads and the data has been inconsitant with the graph. It’s a wait and see at this time.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-Stats-Dashboard] Not working in WP 3 betaI just upgraded to 3.0 and at the same time I upgraded to wp-stats 1.72. From that point on wp-stats shows zero activity on my site. Other stat trackers work well but that one just quit. I have removed(deleted) and reinstalled wp-stats several times with the same results. The graph panel, etc. show where they should but just no new data! can anybody help? Please email me [email protected]
