After switching to the default storfront theme, they upload crisp and clear. Even then, after if I switch back to the Avada theme, they remain clear.

So I guess I will have to purchase avada support again to find out how exactly this was embedded D: as it is clear now this happened after an Avada update.

Hi the screenshot you sent does not include the newly uploaded images i referenced. (The first 2 on that product page scroll up.)

Have not resolved the issue no, the images are showing a low res version you can see it in the code if you ‘inspect’ that only these images are being resized to a smaller size.

The problem is visible on large screens.

Hi again.. so I have inspected source code of images through chrome, and have discovered that the newly uploaded images ‘Intrinsic size’ is being reduced to a generic size of 600x799px instead of retaining the original pixel size, as were (and still are) all previously uploaded images in product gallery.

I have attached screenshots of the ‘Instrinsic size’ compression on a newly uploaded image, and an unaffected already in media library image for ref.

Hi, I have still not found a solution to this problem.

Even if I upload the same image to a new product which is already showing clearly in a previously uploaded product, this exact same image newly uploaded is showing low res until clicked on, which turns it to high res, then returns back to low res after another page refresh.

Thank you kindly for your reply. I have checked what you mentioned, and regenerated thumbnails + cleared all cache (including Avada, woocommerce, siteground etc) + of course browser cache.

The issue still persists.
