In reply to: [Advanced Query Loop] Post OrderHey Ryan,
thanks so much for the swift reply and actions! Glad you liked the idea of ordering. Totally understand that you don’t want to query all posts.

In reply to: [Advanced Query Loop] Pick custom posts, pages, CPTsMy apologies, it seems to work like that already. I just did not type enough of the page title that it showed up. In my case I had to type nearly the whole title for it to show up.

In reply to: [Advanced Query Loop] Pick custom posts, pages, CPTsHi Ryan,
I just tried out the new version. It works really well! Thank you.
It would be great however, if you have chosen “ADDITIONAL POST TYPES”, that posts from those “ADDITIONAL POST TYPES” would come up in the “Include Posts” input field as well.
At the moment it seems that only posts from the post type “post” are selectable, even if you added “page” in “ADDITIONAL POST TYPES”.
Or am I doing something wrong?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Advanced Query Loop] Pick custom posts, pages, CPTsHi Ryan,
that’s exactly what the plugin does. It allows you to pick a curated list from the post type that you have selected.
Obviously it would be great if you could add that functionality to your plugin!

In reply to: [Advanced Query Loop] Pick custom posts, pages, CPTsTo be quite honest, I think the best way would be to make the Query Blocks “POST TYPE” attribute/field work like your “ADDITIONAL POST TYPES” attribute and only have one place where I set the post types.
To me it does not makes sense to set this in two places.
I.e “Post” in POST TYPE and then “Page” in ADDITIONAL POST TYPES.
Then the other plugin would likely work with your one out of the box.
I just do not know if you can “deregister” an attribute/control and then add it again with different functionality.
Would be great to hear your thoughts.@bradley2083
To me it looks like that you need to choose “wide” to hide it on that screen size. You can change the breakpoints with a filter, if you need to.Just add 4 paragraphs with text (mobile, tablet, desktop, wide) and give all different settings and make the window bigger and smaller. Then you should see when they disappear.
To me it all looks like it should work as expected.- This reply was modified 10 months ago by landwire.
Hi @bradley2083,
Could you specify more clearly what is not working exactly?
I tried the live preview of the plugin and it all seems to be working as it should. Maybe there is a conflict with some other plugin?
Obviously the live preview does only test against the most recent WordPress version and no other plugins installed.

thank you for taking the time to write a review! And such a positive one. I’m glad it’s helpful.
Obviously the plugin is more geared towards developers. But I also like to keep it simple and flexible.
