Thanks @momo-fr for your reply. Yes every time I would update the OceanWP header settings when I would click publish it would show and then when I would go to view the page afterwards it would disappear.
@lestexas60 thank you. Unfortunately I had to delete the entire website and start again ?? It was the only solution I could think of in the end. I even tried to download a plugin ‘WordPress database reset’ but would receive an error message “installation failed: could not create directory”. So the guy that hosts my domain etc. wiped it all and I quickly built it again.
I think I received all of these problems from when I downloaded the plugin by ExactMetrics for google analytics. That’s when I started getting bugs. And at a similar time I installed the latest updates. So could have been a combo of both?
The glass of red wine at the end of the day certainly helped!
