LamHey all – We have a fix ready for our next release. Please keep an eye out for the next Jetpack update.

LamHi everyone,
We’ve created an open issue for our developers to track and work on a solution for this – you can follow the progress of it here:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/7828
I’ve added a note to the issue with the URL to this thread
Hi @darknova11 – One of our publicize experts just ran a number of tests to try replicate this on their end but wasn’t able to do so. Would you be able to set up a redirect from HTTP version of your site to HTTPS – this should overcome the issue entirely.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] add new websiteHi there,
Looks like Facebook may have crawled your site and picked up an outdated/wrong image. To give it a nudge, please go to this Facebook address:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
Once there, paste your blog, site, page or blog post url address you tried to share and click the Debug button, better if you click on it twice or until you see both the image and the content.
Also, if you see the “Scrape” or “Scrape Again” button, click on it as well until you see both the image and the content.
After this process, it should crawl and share your site’s content without issues.
Hi there,
Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. Unfortunate customizations such as this falls outside the scope of support we provide. Just a note that, in order to achieve the styling you want, you’ll want to first set up Jetpack to accept them by ticking ‘Advanced’ in the sharing options and adding the snippet of code shown here: https://jetpack.com/support/sharing/#disable-js
We don’t provide the custom JavaScript code or CSS code.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Filter postsHi there,
Does the button not function at all? Can you please check your browser’s console for any errors while loading the page and attemtping a search?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Can’t connect JetpackHi there,
Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. It looks like even though your site is returning the correct response when visiting the xmlrpc.php file over a browser, Jetpack’s servers gets a 401 error when trying to access the file using cURL. Here’s a command we use to test the connection:
curl -A ‘Jetpack by WordPress.com’ -d ‘<methodCall><methodName>demo.sayHello</methodName></methodCall>’ https://sww.nz/xmlrpc.php
Can you please check with your host whether they’re restricting access to any Jetpack IP addresses?. The full IP range is:
192.0.64.0/18 – as well as some others, but as we’re behind a load balancer our IPs can change at any time.Hi there,
Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. Unfortunately it’s not possible to hide the URL at this stage however it is something that’s in our view for future consideration: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/261
Cheers.
Hi there,
Just an update on the conflict – it looks like our developers have a patch for this which is currently in beta and expected to be in our next update.
We’re expecting the release to come out soon however if you want to try the beta plugin, you can find a download link and instructions here:
https://jetpack.com/download-jetpack-beta/Hi there,
Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. There is a known conflict between the new Jetpack contact form and any plugin that uses a TinyMCE text editor.
Our developers are working on a fix for this, and you can follow their progress here for updates:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/7598Meanwhile, the simplest workaround is to install and activate this plugin, which should resolve the conflict:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack-addons/archive/disable-grunion-editor-view.zipYou can download that to your computer and then upload it to your site via Plugins > Add New by clicking the ‘Upload Plugin’ button.
We’ll also get back to you as soon as a fix is available.
Hi there,
Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. I noticed that your site is running on PHP version 7.1 – we’ve had a report of some compatibility issues with this version: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/6629
Could you try downgrading to 7.0 and let us know if that fixes the issue?
Cheers,

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] STkit vs JetPackHi there,
Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. I tried to replicate the issues you had by installing STkit on my test site running 5.2.1 but wasn’t able to do so. Were the errors turning up in your debug logs or did they show in the front-end? Has it reappeared since downgrading and upgrading?
Hi there,
Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. It looks like posts created using MyCurator is first passed as a custom post type, which you’ll need to add support for inorder for it to Publicize. Can you try adding the code sample that my colleague mentioned in that thread?
