    Oh my Esmi, I could kiss you. Thank you so much for that tool, made my life a lot easier. Would you believe it was the CSS designed for Ipad use that was mucking me around? Swiftly fixed. Done and done, doesn’t it look swell now?

    Sorry, I’m a little green around the ears, how will that help?

    Thanks so much for your clear response, I’m sure this will help many many people who have been searching for an answer. I’ve moved on to a different theme as I was growing weary and didn’t think I’d get a reply (judging on past users who had the same problem, no slight against the community). Looking at what you’ve done there, I don’t think I would have figured that out on my own.

    Thanks again ^_^

    I’ve been continuing to try and fix this issue over the last two hours, I have come across many websites that have resolved the issue somehow. I’ve opened their CSS stylesheet and a lot have hidden the secondary sidebar, some have deleted the code entirely, but I can’t access their sidebar.php to see the final step in the process.

    If anybody could please find a way to fix this for me, and those other users who have been trying to fix this (the forums search option yields a handfull of people who have asked the same query and never been answered.)

    One website that has solved it is: https://elschy.de/

    I can’t be much more help than that unfortunately, I’m not that great at this stuff. I was fast because i’m waiting around to see if anybody can help me on another thread, haha. If you have that all in place, not sure what else it could be. That is posted from a working theme so if it looks like that it couldn’t be an update issue I’d think.

    Does your theme have all this kind of information at the top of the stylesheet?

    /*
    Theme Name: Yoko
    Theme URI: https://www.elmastudio.de/wordpress-themes/yoko/
    Description: Yoko is a modern three-column blog theme. A responsive layout optimizes the theme for mobile devices like tablet pcs and modern smartphones (the layout switches to a two- or one-column layout depending on the screen size the theme is viewed on). To make your blog post more flexible you can use different kinds of post formats such as gallery, image, video, aside, link or quotes. To customize the theme you can choose your own background, link color, logo and header image. Yoko also comes with a custom social links widget and shortcodes for text columns, info boxes and highlighted text.

    I’ve edited that information in the past and it’s destroyed the theme, made it unusable. You need that information for some reason so make sure it exists.
