They’re saying that cURL is installed, but having a further look.

The other weird thing with the Twitter sharing option is that it automatically inserts the following text:

Hey great story check it out < h3>This domain is forbidden!< /h3> RT @myusername

What’s the problem with the domain? The other sharing options (facebook, blogger, email, google bookmarks, google buzz) don’t seem to have a problem with grabbing the url.

Also not sure why it’s inserting the h3 tags for Twitter?

Really love this sharing option, it manages to be professional, sleek, and sophisticated all at once.

Would love to iron out this Twitter detail.

nevermind, so sorry, not even a css issue.

instead had a typo in my index.php that Firefox was forgiving of, but the rest of the browsers weren’t.

Nevermind!

I had a typo, and looks like Firefox was able to be forgiving and rendered everything anyways, while the other browsers were sticklers.

same bug here! has anyone figured out a workaround?

this is a great feature, would really love to use it! but it’s not clean if pages without comments mention them.

what if i only wanted to have numbered comments, without the threading?

it’d be great if greg’s solution allowed for a 0 nesting. then this would essentially be the same thing.

i’m 2.9.2, and my theme files don’t seem to have a comment loop, which is what makes me a bit stumped in trying to do this.

please, anyone out there willing to suggest anything?

Btw, my problem seems to be that I cannot find a comment loop within my theme. So I can’t just seem to insert a counter and print it out.

Any help with the default loop would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

1. How can you tell that it’s not a WordPress blog? What I like about it is that the entire text is loaded right away, but at the same time is broken up a bit more viewer friendly. The fact that those are links doesn’t make much sense to me, and would be unnecessary. But the spacing and numbers are what I’m after. I understand that you don’t like it, but any tips for making it happen (where to insert code or anything like that even) would be much appreciated ??

For (1) I was referring to something like what is done here:

Notice how a possibly really long post of text is on a regular basis cut off to insert some blank lines and a page number. Makes it look like a book, at least to me.

For (2), thanks for the example. I suppose that’s what I’ll do. I was just wondering if there were some way of automating that so for every post, so that I could enter my posts as usual each time, and that would just happen automatically.
