– I re-enabled the required plugins leaving out mailpress & newletter – hoping those were the problems.
My gut feeling is that my outbound email was stopped by hostmonster (received intimated 2.5 hrs before & when checked next site was not working) and it somehow interfered with teh mailing plugins

My theme is Pytheas but highly modified so cant update it (i am a dirty coder)

no i have found which one it is i was asking why all of a sudden?

Seems it is some plugin. Just dont undrestand how the hell all of a sudden it happened?

I am just postulating – they disabled my outgoing email by something and hence mailpress and hence this site has stopped working — is it possible?

Just a few comment
– as I have not made any changes, does changing wordpress core/ pluginss etc resolve stuff given as everything was working
– I also checked erro_log and got this error: does it make sense to you

Was able to do it using register wordpress hook

add_action(‘user_register’, ‘register_unique_id’);

Just to clarify:
– I have old users with unique id – so i do not want to overwrite their unique ids
– Hence, when someone registers/ logins for the 1st time through lets say facebook and his matching email is not there then that function should run but if matching email is there then that function shouldnt run.

Can i use some hook to associate my function with yours

no its not that simple (i thought i might do it buikding upon what you suggested)-
I tried following
– created custom field A_post_ID_for variation
– WHen webpage is loaded php runs once using ID of parent post
— hence, when i change variation it doesnt help
– tried to look at how price is changing and it seemed will have to modify too much php code in WC_product class..

but all product variation have the same code to display.. so how will i display custom field corresponding to Product variation A-1; and when it is A-2 show field corresponding to it

Ya but what if I have product variation? How to enter for each product variation

also wondering if it is possible to pop the event form from fullcalendar when clicked on a date

And i think reason was mailpress was calling jquery plugin again not sure though..

I was finally able to resolve mine – Mailpress Subscription widget was interfering —

Can anyone suggest what could be the reason

but atleats my problem is solved and i am so….. happy ??
