Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Referrers Not workingI am using Jetpack as for the stats on the site itself and also Google Analytics which also seemed to stop at the same exact time. I’ve tried several times to see if it was Google but I am not sure if it is or not.
Although I think I might go find another stat program. You should read this article about Jetpack:
https://www.localbusinesscoachonline.com/coachnotes/jetpack-stats-plugin-hijacks-comments/
I’ll probably install something else that might work better anyways.
I too am confused about that and would like to know if we can see all posts, terms, referrers that come to my site. Is this not going to be fixed? Did you get an answer?

In reply to: Custom Permalinks are redirect to homepageYep that was the problem. I turned off one plugin that was going to all my blogs: “Permalink Fix & Disable Canonical Redirects Pack” and that seems to of fixed the problem. I should of done that earlier. I learned something new today because of it! Thanks!!
Are they still getting that information from visitors or will we have to go to Google Analytics to find out what people did on my blog??

In reply to: WP Stats not workingIt seems to not just be you but me also. The instant I log into the dashboard and it loads up I get a recaptcha. It is like an infinite loop for the stats, everytime I try to go to the stats page it keeps asking for my IDENTIFICATION!!

In reply to: [WP-reCAPTCHA] [Plugin: WP-reCAPTCHA] it crash instantly after u upgrade.I too am having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? For those who need to disable the plugin just go into wp-content/plugins/ and change the name of wp-recaptcha and then you will be able to access your blog!!
Yep that did it. Like I said I am a beginner! Thanks for the help! So all subdomains have to be uncapitalized Right?
Yea well I am a biginner at this. I can access the Subdomain “https://cheap-electronics.tech-linkblog.com” without a problem both subdomains are accessible but can’t get into the wp-admin for “Myshows.tech-linkblog.com”. Any Ideas on how to fix that problem. I can login into “https://cheap-electronics.tech-linkblog.com” subdomain without a problem but that other domain is showing that redirect error!!
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
So I need to get that domains wp-admin accessible now!!
Just a follow up for those who are having this type of problem. Just go ahead and remove the domain mapping tool by deactiving from all sites. It seems that was causing me to have that error in the first place. I removed it and deleted and now I can login to all my wp-admin pages!!
Fixed that little problem by going through my database and replace every entry that was “www.tech-linkblog.com” to “tech-linkblog.com”. I went into both wp_options and wp_blogs and since I have domain mapping, I also went into wp_domain_mapping databases. This seems to fix the problem, but I would love to have it https://www.tech-linkblog. Do I need to domain map it to https://www.tech-linkblog.com in order to have this happen? I still can’t access my subdomains wp-admins and I went into the Alias names and added the * to IP, or will I have to wait overnight to see if that fixes itself? It says it isn’t redirecting properly!!
Now since I updated my DNS I am getting on my main site:
https://tech-linkblog.com/tech-linkblog.com/
whenever I try to go using just https://tech-linkblog.com any ideas how to fix that??
No I have a dedicated Ip through Justhost and I was going to try the ANAME thing again tonight let it propagate over 3 or more hours and see if it works. Last time I was trying to use cname but this time I know I need to use ANAME. Tried it last night using CNAME went to sleep and wroke up to find it broke my blog. No longer existed!! ;( So I am going to try this tonight using the ANAME tonight to see if that fixes the problem!!

In reply to: possible bugCheck your database in wp_#_options and see if they have a broken link pointing to the wrong place. You can access this also from the superadmin section with domain Mapping:
WordPress MU Domain Mapping Pluggin
Also make sure you have the blog.dir in the wp-content directory! That could be the problem!!
