THANK YOU ESMI. That worked! Setting the permalinks to default.

However, I have no idea why it suddenly stopped working. It was working for months and then stopped with the upgrade, so perhaps that was the problem.

Yes. I deactivated all plugins (didn’t help) and I installed the default theme and that didn’t help either.

Good luck. I had this problem last week and it was days before I got it resolved. It seems to have fixed itself, but it was very annoying!

WPBlogHost – your video ROCKS! However, for some reason the WP “lost password” finally worked and I was able to reset that way.

But in the meantime I followed your video and was in the SQL database when the temporary password WP sent actually worked. I got the “email not enabled” message several times and my host assured me that it is NOT disabled, so I have no idea what was going on.
