In reply to: default Rss feed not workingHave you got a feed reader installed on your browser? What browser are you using?
I have the same problem… saw some documentation elsewhere that suggested changing all the rel= entries to class= which would seem like a neat solution – tried editing various files but no joy ??
Awesome, that does look pretty good – it would be nice if admin could set any day to be fully booked without having to fill in the form? but your answer does seem workable. Thank you
ah ok thank you ??
For example to define a holiday period, or days not available when there are no bookings.
so to put it more simply – can admin set any particular day to show as “fully booked” as and when they decide, whether or not that day has a booking, and without adding a booking? ??
Oh ok, sorry for blaming your plugin for this then! i take it back! ?? thanks for your reply, that’s very helpful ??
Sorry I didn’t explain very well. Thanks for your reply – I was trying to display all posts from the same ‘parent’ category wih this plugin ??
Nice one Anshul – very much like this plugin – I think filtering on page by tag would be the most useful, as it is always possible to style another plugin’s page results to look like cgview, whereas the filter by tag would need to be built into cgview to work I guess – thank you though for an ace solution – My friend faced losing his portfolio when he changed his theme so we changed it into posts and this looks great ??
sorted! after three days trial and error found out that cgview does not support embedded video *unless it is embedded using html* ie in an iframe – I used `<iframe type=”text/html” width=”” height=””src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/video_id” frameborder=”0″>
</iframe>
yip yip yip! I really wanted to use cgview for the whole gallery, not just for the images as I like the style. Perfect!have worked out that turning the lightbox off on my multimedia page does work, in that it links to the full post with the video etc – but I would really like to be able to use shortcodes/ videos/ and modules such as related posts and comments in the lightbox! I likes the lightbox! ??

In reply to: Unwanted ads in self-hosted blog?Hey – i had exactly the same problem on my selfhosted blog – thing was , i only noticed it when I checked on my daughter’s laptop. we both use firefox, but i have adblock on my browser. Having checked the source code (nothing) and having run the url through https://browsershots.org/ (couldn’t see the links there) and having asked a few friends to look from their machines (they couldn’t see anything) I eventually determined it was something to do with her laptop. I cleaned it (no difference) and looked at her plugins – eventually worked out that in her addons > extensions she had a little extension called ‘Yontoo’ – now I have no idea what this was supposed to do or where it came from, but disabling this plugin removed the unwanted links – so in my case was VERY glad to report that it wasn’t a problem with my website, just adware on the laptop. PHEW! I hope you managed to fix your problem, was going to say if you still have the issue (not that I can see any ad links on your blog now) and it’s the same on other browsers/ machines maybe try re-uploading your theme…
I wish you could edit / delete posts on this forum! sorry about the number of posts – ok so I fixed the image issue by uploading another to uploads – tested disabling my seo plugin (which also can’t differentiate between blog home and my home pge it seems, but thats a separate issue) and still get same warnings, and same issue when posting the blog.
