In reply to: [Hestia] parallax effect not working on ChromeOh yeah and on Brave mobile browser, I have no parallax effect on Big title section, functioning parallax on About section (though the to-top button bugs out a lil bit and gives me a little grey bar at the bottom of the About section on scroll, it disappears when I stop – not that it’s the biggest biggie in the wild but you know, details)…

In reply to: [Hestia] mp3 player appearing in sidebar for some reasonOpe, I fixed it. By having [audio] in the title it was basically acting as a shortcode ??
I had tried editing the title but the preview didn’t let on that the edit had worked. Silly meForum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [TeamBy10Web] I deleted sample data, now I can’t get it backOk, I’m a raging numbskull. I can’t get the sample data back, but I have managed to get the contact/s looking as they did in the demo, so no harm, no foul.
And to think, I nearly paid for the premium version! Lol
PS. I really like this plugin so far; it’s the best free version of a meet the team I’ve found, and I have tried a few of them! Will review once I’ve got to grips with it.I take it back. I think this is a theme issue, will take it up with theme developers
It also pulls header tags, would ideally like to turn this off, too. Deactivated plugin for now, which means no ‘continue reading’ link or ellipsis, but to be honest, looks better :/
OK, so I found that I can use the Fetch as Google function in Webmaster Tools, which I’ve done. I suppose that’s that, then. Silly me. Sorry to anyone who may have been composing a reply. Done. Thanks again…
Here she is again, sorry. Assuming that everything’s fine, and I just need to hold my horses until Google has crawled the site… Can I add my sitemap anyway, or should wait until there are no warnings on the test? Thanks in advance ??
Or maybe this is fine, and I don’t need to worry, and I just need to wait for Webmaster Tools to catch up? #googlingfuriously

In reply to: redirect .html to trailing slashSorry it’s a little complicated. Originally my client had a static website on the .com server with page extensions like .php and .html. When I rebuilt it in cmsms I gave all the pages ‘pretend’ .html extensions and even redirected the old .php pages to give them what looked like .html extensions for the user.
Now he has a separate hosting account on a .net server so I’m building a duplicate website on the .net server (as there’s only one database on the .com hosting account) – I’m planning to move everything over to the .com server once it’s done. Just didn’t want to break all the existing links to mysite.com/page.html and trying to think of the best workaround.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: redirect .html to trailing slashthe website I linked is the new version. I want to build the new version of the website on the .net server and then move it to the .com server. I think it may be easier to redirect all of the /mypage/ links to pretend they are .html pages, like I did with the old one, huh. As pages ending .html are the ones currently ranking in google.

In reply to: redirect .html to trailing slashI have a website where all the pages are named /mypage.html
I’d like to redirect any typed /mypage.html pages to /mypage/Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: redirect .html to trailing slashthanks for your quick reply – would I have to stipulate this for every existing page or is there a ‘catch-all’ solution I could use?
