ade11 is right. Try to delete other plugins that may use geolocation functionality. The only reason of such failure is that the same function is already declared somewhere in you WP code.

Seems like this is covered by geoposty plugin.

Just select the United States from countries selectbox and choose “Domain Name” among redirect options. That’s it!

Actually, this plugin can be extended to include city redirection functionality. It just needs to load additional geocity database to implement that. But production code is not available as a plugin.

To be counted the user have to load and view the page. Redirection should be the very first action after request. Only real pageviews are counted.

If you are redirecting to another domain – that’s no problem to count right before redirection. You have to modify action hooks of both plugins.

But if you are redirecting to the same site, but with another language option – it will count twice, right before and after redirection. That is not good behavior at all.

Try to do next:

• For ?default redirect? select ?Language Code? among ?Redirect options?, enter ?Option Value? = ?en? and optionally mark ?Use pretty permalink?. This will redirect all of your visitors to abc.com/?lang=en or abc.com/en/
• Then select Germany among the countries selectbox and add it to the redirect options list. For this country select ?Domain Name? among ?Redirect options? and enter the value ?https://abc.com? (just remove substring ?de.?)
  This setting will affect only on visitors from Germany and will not execute any redirect, because of the equal domain. Also german visitors will have the possibility to visit abc.com/en/ page.

Please try new plugin version 3.0 It’s more understandable.

OK. All you need is to add United States from the countries selecbox. Then select Redirect Option Domain Name and correct Option Value field if needed. That’s it!
Also you may switch on the checkbox named “Redirect only visitors of the site’s root”

1. Yes, in version 3.0 of geo-redirect plugin you can redirect your visitors only from the homepage. Try to switch on the checkbox named “Redirect only visitors of the site’s root“.

2. No. In this case the language settings should be set in cookies and such functionality may be provided by your language plugin. All you need is GeoIP database to detect client location and set up specific cookie.

Have you tried this kind of URL https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/?no_redirect
You should have no_redirect parameter in your link and it will not redirect for sure. I suppose, you entered wrong url.
To access plugin page try this https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=geo_redirect&no_redirect
