okay suddenly it is working – not sure what the issue was. Is there supposed to be a page for the collections that show all those available? Or can I create one? The individual collections are working, but would like an index page to show all available ones.

I installed a custom sidebar plugin and have gotten the correct one set for each individual event page now, but cannot figure out how to set it on the main events page itself since it is not a page that shows in the posts or pages sections where I would be able to select the customs sidebar. You can see the right sidebar here https://scifispace.com/scifi-con/the-batman/ but that it is showing the one from my archive page section on the main events page here https://scifispace.com/scifi-conventions/

I selected the default page template in for the events template.

Well never mind – apparently it is a caching issue as I opened an incognito window and it loads fine But even after clearing cache multiple times, I still cannot see it normally ?? sooo dang weird!

NVM – just saw the section about document-roots, so changing that now

Okay, so we set up the subdomain and if you go to it now, you see the holding page for it.

But I cannot get it to work in wordpress. I added the site thru the network dashboard, but when I try to go to it’s dashboard, I get:

Not Found

The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server.

I thought it ran virtually from my existing wp installation so am confused why it’s looking for admin in the subdomain folder?
