The problem is now resolved. I just uploaded the default theme, went back into the WP Admin and then changed the theme to K2. It works now.

Well, does anyone know how to reinstall K2 after clicking that uninstall button?

Yes to all of them. I intentionally installed Popularity Contest and I was hoping to know what the problem is with that.
