I’m also stumped by this, this was a good plugin, I’ve used it on lots of sites.

Was this ever resolved? I’m having trouble with Disqus on a custom theme and I don’t want to revert to the universal code solution just yet.

I’m looking for this exact same solution. Did you find one?

Not sure if this is exactly your problem, but I was able to resolve mine by removing the sidebar playlist widget on pages that also included shortcodes in the main content area. Also, I haven’t upgraded to WP 3.5 yet because another thread suggests it causes more errors, but I do have it working on 3.4.2

Go ahead and ignore my last post. The issue I was having was merely having a sidebar widget exist at the same time as a shortcode in main content area. This didn’t used to cause a problem, but as soon as I removed the sidebar playlist widget, the individual mp3 players began working again.

Tested in Chrome, Safari, & Firefox
Running WordPress 3.4.2 (afraid to upgrade!)

I’m surprised the downgrade worked for you. I never upgraded to WP 3.5 and I’m experiencing the issue as well. Though the issue for me seems to only exist for the text-based players and playlist widget when there are text players also loaded on the page. The playlist player widget works fine on my homepage and all other pages that don’t include the text-based players.

For these text players, I just get dud links that say “Play” but don’t do anything. Not even jump to page top.

Same problem here, any recommendations? Or alternate plugins?

Ah well don’t I feel dumb, the pagination is controlled under:

Settings > Reading > “Blog pages show at most ## posts”

Change that ## to a big number and it solves the pagination problem.

aydeeyal: not sure about your thumbnail problem, but I did notice that thumbnails don’t work when you are pulling images from external URLs, you have to upload them to your media library.

I’d like to know how to turn off the pagination as well.

Another one solved on my own. It was the cufon rendering engine ruining everything for me. Not a big cufon fan.

Ended up just removing the plugin and reading up on how the PHP loop works.
