Sorry @tdcenter I’m still not able to reproduce the error. Try to delete the QDB page you created (also delete it from the bin), deactivate the plugin and then activate it again.

This will create the QDB page – the reason being a page ID is stored for the page when the plugin creates it.

Sorry you are having this issue, what version of WordPress are you on? I’m not getting the error at my end. I’m looking into it.

Sorry you are experiencing issue with the plugin, try to using short code to see if this work for example:

Hello @squabster, I apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the short code on the Enfold theme. The plugin should function properly when used with either short code or blocks. Have you tried using any other short codes besides the ‘quick download button’? Do other short codes work correctly?

Hi @skpatil, I’m sorry you’re still having problems. To fix it, please follow these steps:

1. Deactivate the plugin.
2. Reactivate the plugin.
3. Check if the page “quick download button” exists on your site by typing in your site URL and adding “/quick-download-button” to the end of it. For example: https://lifestatus.in/quick-download-button
4. If the page does not exist and you get redirected to your homepage or a 404 page, it means that the page has been deleted. In this case, deactivating and reactivating the plugin will recreate the page.
5. Let me know if this solution works for you. If not, I’ll investigate further.

@sub2assassin, thank you for asking this question. To prevent this page from being indexed by search engines, you need to do it manually. Additionally, you can change the name of this page to anything you want once the plugin is activated.

If you experience any problems after changing the page name, simply deactivate the plugin and then activate it again.

In future updates, I will include a feature that will automatically add a no-index to this page.

Hello, @sub2assassin, sorry you are experiencing an issue with the plugin. I cannot reproduce the issue using the same link that was not working on your site on another test site.

The link works as expected on a test site.

You may need to check other plugins on your site to see if any other settings are preventing external links from opening.

Try the external link with an HTML code without using any plugins and see if this works.

@thanujan2410 The problem is that the page responsible for handling the quick download button may have been accidentally deleted from your website. This causes a message saying “404” to appear.

The page doesn’t have to be called “Quick Download Button” – you can name it something else – but it’s necessary for the plugin to work.

I’ve updated the plugin. To fix the issue, you should turn off the plugin and then turn it back on again. This will create the page that was deleted.

In the future, I’ll add an option for users to choose which page they want to use for the plugin.
