In reply to: Change page title font sizeThanks for the quick reply. It works for pages, but I have a couple of category-based blog pages, like https://kunalmehra.com/category/writing/, where it still shows the larger font. Any idea how to change those?
Thanks.

In reply to: Font sizes are different on post and menuThanks for the reply.
Do you know, on the category page (https://kunalmehra.com/category/writing/), how to change the font size for the actual text (not just the title)?
Like I want this to be bigger: “What happens when two strangers meet unexpectedly on a beach on a quiet winter night during the pandemic? They each have their own reasons for being there. What follows is a story of how the night is transformed for each of them.”
Is there CSS code for that or perhaps a better way to do it?
Thanks.

In reply to: Create multiple blog post pagesThanks for the helpful reply. I found this video that explained how to use categories:

In reply to: blank pageYes, the database/user/password settings in wp-config match those in the MySQL database..this file hasn’t changed since I was last able to access my site.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: blank pageI also have some directories/files that I had created (using DreamWeaver, before I had WP installed) that I can access now. For example: https://a-panegyric.com/samples/samples.html
The problem I think is specific to any and all directories/files that I created using WP, including the root directory (a-panegyric.com)

In reply to: blank pageNow, my website (a-panegyric.com) is redirecting to another site dvindicators.com which, it appears, was registered with StartLogic just yesterday:
https://www.whois.net/whois/dvindicators.com
I’m talking with StartLogic tech support but they’ve been really slow in resolving this issue. While I’m investigating this issue with them, does anyone know why such website redirection might be happening?

In reply to: blank pageI deleted the .htaccess (residing in /public_html, which is where the wp-content, wp-admin and wp-includes directories reside) and still see the same problem. I renamed it to a different file as well but the problem persists. This is what the .htaccess looked like:
# Begin IP blocking #
Order Allow,Deny
Deny from 58.65.232.0
Deny from 58.65.232.33
Allow from all
# End IP blocking #Shane – I don’t have any plugins and unfortunately, I can’t even login to my blog to change the theme etc. Any time I go to the wp-login page, it takes me to that catallacticanalysis.com site.
I guess I can try upgrading but I’m not sure if that’s what at the root of this issue…

In reply to: blank pageThanks for the link. I don’t have any plugins. My theme is very simple (subtleflux theme) with only text on the website and one image as the banner. I also don’t have Google Gears.
I just noticed that when I go to
https://a-panegyric.com/wp-login.phpI end up on some other website (the lost password link points to catallacticanalysis.com). The title of the page also point to Catallactic Analysis. I have no idea what this website is or why I’m being redirected here. My domain name was recently renewed with my ISP but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with this…
Thanks for any help!

In reply to: Editing text on main pageThanks, I was able to fix the first problem but not the second.
I modified the phrase in /themes/index.php but it doesn’t show up.
I guess my question is more like: is it possible to have a page contain the introductory text on https://a-panegyric.com/ (instead of a post), so that when users go to a-panegyricv.com, they’ll see a page with text/images on it?

In reply to: Adding links to main pageThanks! I was able to add new links to the main page.
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: /wp-admin/install.php opens a blank pageThanks! That’s a really helpful video. One thing I noticed is that you have a php.ini in your public_html. I don’t. I’m guessing that’s necessary for WP? If so, how do I get that file?
