I just tested Menu Icons with WP 4.8.2 and I’m not seeing any issue.

On the left hand side of the Menus page, there’s a “Menu Icons Settings” meta box under the other meta boxes where you can select pages to add to your menu from. You can enable the “Image” type from there.

It is compatible with WordPress 4.8.2. I’ll update the readme this weekend.

Have you enabled the SVG type on the settings? If so, can you try with other SVG files?

There’s no option to disable the plugin on mobile. I suspect the issue is caused by a conflict with the WP Responsive Menu plugin. I’ll try to find some free time to debug this.
