In reply to: [Fukasawa] How do I add a sliding gallery to a post?hi, I posted it before. hope it will help:
I was puzzled all day, trying to resolve the problem.
And eventually did it with success. Let me share it with you, and I hope you will be able to have your slider going.1. Delete the post completely from your post menu as well as from the trash menu as well.
2. Prepare all images (same size). If you already uploaded them to the media library before (for previous use), then you should remove them from the library, rename them and upload them back to the library again (remember: all images must be the same size).
3. Create new Post
4. Upload images from media library into the post (no needs to upload featured image)
5. check the Gallery option from the Format menu
6. and click Update
7. Then you can view the post in order to be sure that slider is there and up for running. But you still will see the uploaded images on that post as well. In order to remove them and keep just a slider running on the post do the next:
8. Go back to Edit Post and click on each single image and delete them.
9. After you deleted all of them, click Update again and then View the Post.
10.Your slider should running without problem. If you will need to add some text under the slider you can go back to the edit post and add your text.
Hope this will help you to resolve the problem with your gallery slider.
Good luck ??
Note1: images can be different size (but sometimes the slider doesn’t look nice on the entire posts page)
Note2: all images for one particular gallery slider must be uploaded on the same post (not on different post)Forum: Themes and Templates
