Somehow I got back into my control panel–so as far as the permissions things really go I am truly lost.

miklb–Yes that is the one thing I can do. Give me a little bit. It is really confusing. When I FTP back in from FILEZILLA I connect fine to the site. I tried to change my permissions back to no avail. Is it something I could contact you personally through email with and give you some information, or is that too much?

I don’t know exactly what I did, but do I need to get a hold of my hosting provider? This is really starting to overwhelm me. I apologize.

ok, I changed my permissions, but it still gives me that line– If this file was writable you could edit it.

So what can you do, I mean how would I save my changes in my templates. I’m calm, I am just trying to provide a path of information that I have been doing so someone can better answer my question.

In Blogger you could change your template then click publish and everything was saved. Can you do this in Admin, then Presentation, in THEME Editor? I have done everything I was told but am unable to save.

YEA< I’m following you a little, I need to go in my FILEZILLA (my FTP client) and go to wp-content, then themes and change the permissions? Right?

Ok So how do I make all my files be CHMOD666 for themes?

IN Filezilla do I go to ADVANCED? What is the situation on that little popup box?

my themes “header.php” I know that but thank you, I am just wondering how do I edit this? Through FrontPage or what, with blogger you just went in and edited the template. What do I do here? I am truly lost. Please be specific-Thank You for your repsonse.
