Thank you for your response. I followed the exact steps mentioned in the guide but still did not get desired results. Below is how I did the setup on my side:

– Activated Participation in search
– Removed the template from being searchable
– Setup the Search Settings page under MPG Plugin. You can see the code I used here: LINK [I am using Neve theme so most of part is identical as per your support article]
– Downloaded Neve theme from the link mentioned in article
– Edited function.php of child theme as mentioned in article. You can check my function.php file here.
-Added search.php and added the code mentioned in article, You can check my search.php file here.
