Looking forward to being able to use PHP OAuth with the new plugin, do you have an expected release date?
Thank you
Hello,
Is there any update on being able to unlink the primary social account so that the user can disconnect all social accounts from their site account?
Thank you
Please disregard the shortcode request, I found it (not sure how I missed that). But #2 would be great.
1. Provide a shortcode that we can add to any page allowing the same functionality that is on the users My Profile page. This way we can add the shortcode to pages and allow users see what they currently have connected, other social networks available, and to link/unlink their social networks without going to My Profile.
2. Add column to Users (within Admin Dashboard) called Social Login. Show the icons of social login that the user is connected to. This would allow admins to see who is using social login and which ones are being used.
Thanks!
Hi,
Yes, I figured this would take some time based on the complexity; but thanks for taking it under consideration.
I do have 2 other suggestions that would be great to see added (these shouldn’t be as complex), would you prefer I just add them to this thread or create a new thread for each?
That’s great, thank you!
Hello. I was also looking for the ability to unlink a social account, including the primary account. There are 2 use cases where this seems important to include the option to unlink even the primary:
1. A user connects a Google account using this plugin and later decides to switch to a different Google account. Currently this isn’t possible if the Google account is the primary social account (or only) tied to the user profile.
2. A user decides they no longer want their social accounts linked to the site. Currently they can remove all except their primary; but since their primary social account is still linked it may conflict with rules of some social platform policy if they say users should be allowed to remove their data (which I would suspect includes login capable data)
Is it possible to include the option to unlink any account (including primary) in an upcoming release?
Thank you

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Custom post typesHi,
Sorry for the delayed response. I am currently testing it using MailChimp and their “Email Beamer” option. I figure this way it would give the users the option to opt-out if they wanted to.
I haven’t tried getting the script to work with a MailChimp api; I just put the email beamer address in the To: field. Once table is updated and script sends the content to Mailchimp list, I get an email and just need to reply with “send” (which I may set an auto respond based on from field and certain subject line keywords).
Thanks,

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Custom post typesPer – Just wanted to update you that I was able to get it working, but thank you for offering to post the code.
Tobias – You were right, once I got into it I was able to see it wasn’t too difficult to implement this.
Thanks again to both of you for your help.
Kevin

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Custom post typesHello Per,
I also tried to use Better Notifications for WordPress to send out notifications when a Tablepress table was updated. After realizing it wouldn’t send the updates, I came across this post. I’m glad somebody was able to find a way to do it.
Would you be willing to share your plugin so I could download and install it? It is exactly what I have been searching for. Also, did you find a way to populate the To: field; I am hoping to have it send to the members of administrators and subscribers groups.
Thank you,
Kevin
