How do you make the posts go into a table like that?

I can understand using the image as the excerpt etc.. so I could just make a long list of pics.. but how do you make the table like that?!

It really does look pretty neat. I would probably make a light version, white background etc.

I guess it uses a few plugins as well.

Hi, one last question.. can I customise the single.php page depending on what category it is from?

i.e.
single-1.php
single-2.php
single-3.php
single-4.php
single-5.php

i’ll look into the conditional tags but i’ll probably end up trying the first solution.

it seems complicated, i assume i have to make these files and put them in the /theme/ directory

And then, above the loop in those files add:

Regarding only showing just certain categories on the front page… I found this on the WordPress Wiki:
